Brett Phillips Brett Phillips has worked as a Radio Sports Broadcaster based out of Melbourne since 1994, having had stints at Radio Sport National, K-Rock/Bay FM, Triple M/Fox FM, and since 2005 has worked at 1116AM SEN Sports Radio. At SEN, Brett commentates AFL Football during the Winter, hosts Sports Sentral on weekends during the summer, presents ‘In the Paint’ a dedicated basketball program, is the stations Tennis expert, presenting ‘The First Serve' and coverage of the Majors and can he heard filling in over Summer while the regulars are away. Outside of BPM Media and SEN, Brett is also a Sports Correspondent and Presenter of ‘AFL Central’ with 8HA/SUN FM Radio in Alice Springs, Australian Sports Correspondent with Radio Sport in New Zealand, Melbourne Sports Correspondent with Sport FM in Perth, Host of 'Talking AFL' on the Air News Network across Australia, Regular MC at Sporting Functions and General Manager of the Sandown Cobras Football Club. Brett has also covered the 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2007 Cricket World Cup, and 2008 Olympics Games for the AIR NEWS network of stations and the 2009-2010 Wimbledon Championships for SEN.
Peter Marcato Peter Marcato is a radio All-Rounder, based in Melbourne. Having started in the industry from the age of 15, Peter has achieved a wide body of work, across a number of different stations.
Peter currently works at Triple M as a journalist, providing news and sport updates across Australia and is well known as the voice of M-Sport during the football season. In addition to this Peter also works as an on-air presenter at 1116 SEN, hosting various programs and in 2011, covering the Wimbledon Championships.
Despite being able to provide enteraining and professional content across a variety of radio styles (music/talkback/news) Peter's current focus is on sports broadcasting. In January Peter provides commentary for the Hobart International Tennis tournament, the finals of which broadcast on Fox Sports, and is a leading commentator on AO Radio during the Australian Open. Outside of his extensive broadcasting career, Peter is also a lecturer at Swinburne University, specialising in Commercial Radio.
Career highlights include covering the 2006 Commonwealth Games, commentating the Australian Open Mens and Womens Finals and providing world feed commentary for volleyball, beach volleyball and tennis at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.
